The Kasco Marine: Micro-Zyme Beneficial Bacteria & Enzyme 6lb block is the perfect choice to control and eliminate sludge and foul odor in lakes and ponds. Once in the water, it slowly releases / dissolves over 30 days. Billions and billions of beneficial bacteria & enzymes that work around the clock to reduce muck, neutralize odors and clean your water. These live organism eat the black organic soft sediment that plagues older lakes and ponds.  These muck eating bacteria improve and enhance the very bottom of your ponds food chain, giving your entire pond ecosystem a boost.

Application is simple – just apply the product in water 55°F or higher and let it go to work.  One 6lb block treats 6 acre/feet (6 acre pond 1 foot deep, 3 acre pond 2 feet deep, etc.) for 30 days. It is recommended to use a Kasco Marine aerator, circulator or water fountain to help distribute the product and achieve maximum effectiveness.

Macro-Zyme Muck Pucks are ideal spot treatments and shoreline applications around docks and swimming areas to address muck accumulation and water quality issues. The easy-to-use tablets are perfect for the homeowner to use in problem areas. The completely safe, non-toxic formula of beneficial bacteria will aggressively decompose the build-up of organic matter in a way that is not harmful to fish, wildlife, pets, or people. The pucks are approximately the diameter of a quarter and are about 1/2″ tall.

• Each tablet treats up to 10 square feet of bottom sediments.

• Macro-Zyme MuckPucks contain as much, if not more, CFU’s as other bacteria products on the market.

• The pulverized barley binder adds micro-nutrients to kick start the bacteria and decomposition processes
