The Scott Aerator Floating De-Icer protects docks, boats, marinas and boathouses from winter ice by drawing warmer water up from below and circulating it at the surface. It hangs about two feet below the surface from a heavy-duty float, so it adjusts on its own as water levels change. This listing is the 115V version with a 50 ft power cord.
Features
- Suspends about 2 ft below the surface from a heavy-duty float and rises and falls with the water level
- 3,450 rpm, 60 Hz single-phase motor for continuous operation
- Flow from 300 GPM (1/3 HP) up to 500 GPM (1 HP)
- 12-gauge (1/3 and 1/2 HP) or 10-gauge (3/4 and 1 HP) submersible cord with a Hubbell marine-style plug
- High-density polyurethane and stainless steel construction, approved for salt water
- Stainless steel, oil-free submersible motor: no oil to change and no control box needed; made in Holland, Michigan
- Unconditional 5-year motor warranty
