Clearing ice from around my permanent dock

My concern was ice pushing my permanent dock round in northern Wisconsin. I purchased the 1/2HP model. On March 28, 2026, I drilled through 17" of ice, drop in the de-icer and within 12 hours a 20' diameter of ice around the dock was gone - open water. Amazing!

Great product!

Bought it for my pond. Constantly frozen temperatures were not allowing my ducks and fish to make it through winter. This provided a large area where the wildlife could still do their thing. Wish I would've purchased this a long time ago, instead of going out and constantly breaking holes in ice. Customer service was also very helpful and answered my questions and call on a Sunday!

I ordered a weed blower on Amazon and the shipping Got messed up. Victor quickly got me another product shipped next day air instead of me having to wait for 9 days. Excellent fast customer service to fulfill my order quickly as it was supposed to be originally. Thanks so much to all of you there!!

My home is on a bay in New Jersey. During the recent cold snap, my deicer stopped working. My dock and mooring poles were in jeopardy. I was unable to find a Kasco deicer at any of the local marine stores. I tried to order one from Amazon and that proved to be a disaster. West Marine would have taken approximately 7 days for delivery. I found Midwest Ponds as I searched for a deicer on Google and contacted them on a Friday night. I spoke with Joe who understood my state of urgency and guaranteed that he would have a deicer shipped to my home by Monday. He told me he would check to make certain my order was placed and would call me to confirm it was processed. An hour after speaking to Joe he called and reassured me that he would speak to his staff and ship the deicer on Saturday. I received the deicer on Monday as promised. The overall experience was excellent and the price was lower than most competitors. Shipping was free! Great price, incredible service, I highly recommend this company.

Well designed and simple to install

I am not able to comment about the product I bought, but I am able to comment on CSJ&J's Customer Service. I have been a widow for 4 years and have learned a lot in that time about house and yard upkeep. But when my pond and waterfall pump went out, I could not find the right replacement. Nothing I bought fit. Fortunately, I landed on their website, sent off an email about my needs, and quickly got a response. "Peter" asked me a few questions, had me send pictures, asked a couple more questions, then came up with what pump I currently had (there was a little bit of info still visible on it) and a list of 6-7 choices which we narrowed down to two; all of this in a couple of days. I never felt like I was "bugging" him because of all of MY questions to him.
I'm looking forward to receiving my new pump, and if it still isn't the right one, I'm pretty sure CSJ&J will help me figure it out!

We purchased a pump from CSJ&J Gardens and after a year the pump stopped working. I called customer service and Samantha was very friendly and helpful! She got back to me the next day and said a new pump is being shipped today. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I highly recommend this company!
