Thick winter ice is damaging to boats, docks and can harm fish and wildlife in severe situations. To remedy these issues, the Scott Aerator Company has developed deicers that are efficient, reliable and extremely durable. These pond and lake bubblers are built to last and exhibit superior performance in the harshest conditions.
The Scott Aerator Slinger deicer is designed to be suspended with nylon ropes (included) underneath a boat, a boat lift, between pilings or under/between dock(s). This de-icer removes and prevents ice by pumping warmer water from the bottom of the waterway and sending it up and out in a continuous agitated current. It easily adjusts to compensate for varying water levels, and its heavy-duty design holds up in fresh and salt waters. Deploy more than one unit to clear entire marinas or community piers of all ice.
