The Scott Aerator Thermostat Controller is a great way to reduce your electrical operation costs for your Scott Aerator Deicer this winter! This 115 Volt (standard home power) controller is a heavy duty, outdoor rated control box that allows you to set your deicer and forget it. This temperature controller is factory set to 30 degrees Fahrenheit and is fully adjustable from zero to 80 degrees F.
When the outside air temperature hits 30 degrees, it will start your deicer to keep ice from forming around your lakefront. When air temps rise to 1 degree over the set temperature, the unit will automatically turn off the deicer thereby reducing your electrical operating costs.
Do you run a deicer at your cabin on the lake all winter long without being there to monitor it? A temperature controller is perfect for you because it will only run your deicer when it is needed.
The unit features a weather-proof impact resistant enclosure with an 8 foot power cord. Just plug the controller into a 115 volt GFCI protected outlet and then plug your deicer into the Controller. Installation is simple!
Was just what I needed
The ice groomer works very nicely. It is well built and works as promised! I couldn’t be happier!
Great brackets, ice rink setup is much easier using these!
Bought it for my pond. Constantly frozen temperatures were not allowing my ducks and fish to make it through winter. This provided a large area where the wildlife could still do their thing. Wish I would've purchased this a long time ago, instead of going out and constantly breaking holes in ice. Customer service was also very helpful and answered my questions and call on a Sunday!
We actually went and picked our kit up from the factory where they make it. The owner came and talked to us, and even helped load it in our car. He was very friendly and excited about his product. Got it home, and put it up. The kids have been skating for a couple weeks now. We had to move the liner because our original spot was too heavily sloped, and we ended up tearing a small hole in the liner. I put the tape on it (which came with the kit). It took about 45 seconds, and the patch has held for weeks so far. Great product from a small company in the US!
