My neighbors and I work on making the backyard pond enjoyable for the neighborhood kids every winter. We’ve struggled to come up with ideas to keep the ice in good condition for skating. We’ve tried everything from pumping pond water out to resurface, flame throwing to melt the top layer, to dragging a 55lb garbage bin filled with water. This has been the best investment by far!!!. I have 400ft of hose that i connect and by the time I shovel off the pond and get done cleaning everything up, it takes about an hour. Totally worth it!!

Great Deep Black Reflective Pond Dye
The dye packets are easy and convenient to use. I chose the black because our pond is in full sun and it helps with keeping the algae growth down by blocking the sun. The reflective black does the job and is pleasing to look at.
