My neighbors and I work on making the backyard pond enjoyable for the neighborhood kids every winter. We’ve struggled to come up with ideas to keep the ice in good condition for skating. We’ve tried everything from pumping pond water out to resurface, flame throwing to melt the top layer, to dragging a 55lb garbage bin filled with water. This has been the best investment by far!!!. I have 400ft of hose that i connect and by the time I shovel off the pond and get done cleaning everything up, it takes about an hour. Totally worth it!!
Was just what I needed
The machine works great in our lake to protect our dock during the winter months. The customer service at Midwest Ponds was excellent. Peter was so helpful and accommodating.
Works exactly as intended. It comes with tips of the creators many years of experience. Like, -water flow, temperature, layering. Ive followed he tips as a guide and my ice is great.
The rake does a great job of collecting floating weeds. It arrived with the rope already attached and the rope and rake itself feel very durable yet it is lightweight enough that it is easy to toss out and drag back in. Highly recommend!
